Shania Twain, live in Wembley, UK (Photo credit: Wikipedia) |
I'm a huge fan of Shania Twain. I love to dance to so many of her rockin-songs. She is so much fun to listen to! I was playing a popular song of hers the other day (without my glasses or contacts) as you will notice in the video. It's a muted, vintage sound on the keyboard. I'm still working on the camera angle because it's difficult to see the keys but it's a cool song in the Key of Eb, called You're Still The One. Better yet, I'll upload a video I like from YouTube. lol
A little background on Shania:
Shania Twain OC (born Eilleen Regina Edwards, August 28, 1965) is a Canadian singer and songwriter in the country and pop music genres. Her third album Come on Over is the best-selling album of all time by a female musician, and the best-selling album in the history of country music. She is the only female musician to have three albums certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America, and is also the second best selling artist in Canada, behind CĂ©line Dion, with three of her studio albums being certified double diamond by the Canadian Recording Industry Association. Twain has achieved both critical and financial success, having received five Grammy awards, 27 BMI Songwriter awards, and sold over 65 million albums worldwide to date including 48 million in the US alone.

So, how do you form a major chord on piano? A major chord is perhaps the simplest chord. It consists of three notes, the root, 3rd and 5th. Its symbol is "Maj". For instance C major can be written "C Maj". For more information, see Learn major and minor chords
