Fingering Major Scales/Spanish Gypsy Scale

I wanted to start with fingering Major Scales. I thought it would be an easy post and an important one, too. All I know is that this is the best informative site for fingering Major Scales. Why is that? Because they say a picture is worth a thousand words. So, have a look:

Somehow I took a turn this a.m.and landed at the Spanish Gypsy Scale. Have you ever heard of it? Well, I wasn't familiar, so I figure down the road, someone will enlighten me! But this is what I discovered:

The Spanish gypsy scale is a scale that may be played on the white keys of a piano from E to E, except that the G is sharpened (using G# which is a black key). The Spanish Gypsy scale is the fifth mode of the harmonic minor scale, and is also known as the Phrygian major scale or Phrygian dominant scale, the Neopolitan minor scale, or the Jewish (Freygish) scale, often used in Klezmer music.

Yes, the Jewish and Spanish scales are both listed as the same scale.
The harmonic minor is W H W W H m3 H and if you take the scale from its fifth mode it becomes H m3 H W H W W. Which is the same formula as the Spanish Jewish scale of H m3 H W H W W.

Anyway, this is what a friend did in the Gb Spanish Gypsy Scale:

LH/ RH
70-90 bpm (Adani, Baladi, Symphony or Dixie beat/rhythm)

---/Gb,G,Bb,B,Db,D,E,Gb [fingering: 2-1-2-1-2-1-2-3 or 4]
--/Gb,E,D,Db,B,Bb,G,Gb [4-3-2-3-2-3-2-1]

then Hit LH note 1st for these:

Gb/ G,Gb (from high octave/ reg.)
Gb/ E,D,Db
Gb/B,Bb
Gb/ G, Gb
Gb/--

G/D-G-B
G/D-G-B, Gb/ G-B-Db
--/ Db, D,Gb, E, D,Db,Bb,B,G,Gb
B/ D-Gb-B

Very interesting indeed! Are you familiar with the Spanish Gypsy Scale? A fellow blogger is:
